WAUPACA, WI – Attorney Jonathan Groth, of Pitman, Kyle & Sicula, S.C., won a $150,000 settlement on behalf of a Clintonville woman who was hit by a drunk driver. The victim, a 55-year-old female, was traveling north on U.S. Highway 45 near Clintonville when a drunk driver crossed the center line and hit her head on. This accident marked the fourth time that the defendant was cited for driving while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle after revocation as a habitual traffic offender. He was also previously charged with operating while intoxicated causing injury. The victim suffered knee, neck and back injuries. The settlement was reached prior to the lawsuit being filed.
