Attorney Gail L. Brown focuses on representing victims of nursing home abuse and neglect. As an attorney and a nurse, she is passionate about ensuring resident's rights to quality long term care. She is a strong and effective advocate for her clients and their families and has successfully represented them in cases throughout Wisconsin.

Ms. Brown is an active member of the American Association of Justice, American Bar Association, State Bar of Wisconsin and Wisconsin Association for Justice. She has lectured before many nursing organizations on nursing malpractice and medical malpractice.

Ms. Brown earned a bachelor's degree in nursing from UW-Milwaukee in 1977 and a master's degree in advanced nursing practice from Marquette University in 1990. She graduated from Marquette University Law School in 1999. She was a student editor for the Federated Insurance Corporate Counsel Quarterly and a member of the editorial staff of the Elder Advisor - Journal of Elder Law. Ms. Brown was a member of the Marquette Law School's National Health Law Moot Court Team. In addition, she was an intern with Justice Patrick Crooks of the Wisconsin Supreme Court.

Ms. Brown was born on January 19, 1956, and raised in Mequon, Wisconsin. Ms. Brown was a nursing instructor at UW-Milwaukee and worked as a registered nurse in critical care for many years. She currently resides in Germantown, Wisconsin, with her husband, Dr. David Imse, and their daughter, Tracy.
