Two Wisconsinites Sickened by Salmonella Linked to Tomatoes

MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Two people in Wisconsin are among dozens nationwide sickened by an outbreak of salmonella linked to tomatoes.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says the outbreak started in mid-April and has affected people in 11 states.

One adult from Milwaukee County and another person from Pepin County are among those sickened.

Whole Foods has pulled many types of tomatoes from its shelves. Roundy's has alerted its stores about the CDC report.
